Upcoming EPC Projects
Always ambitious and innovative, EPC is working on creating a reality of collective conservation through the establishment of new activities and enterprises.
EPC has fostered many projects and organizations over the years, including:
- FIRE Fund (Fund for Indigenous Rights and the Environment) - a private foundation dedicated to supporting Indigenous human rights and the development of empowered, healthy and environmentally sustainable Indigenous communities and territories.
- REDOIL, an Alaska-wide Indigenous advocacy organization focused on potential and existing impacts of oil exploration and development on culture, subsistence, and environment in the Arctic, with an appeal to the Alaska Department of Natural Resources regarding the Beaufort Sea Areawide Oil lease and exploration permits. Polar bear habitat and subsistence are at great issue with this lease sale.
- tNC (the Native Conservancy Land Trust) support's Indigenous people's efforts to preserve, repatriate and restore ancestral lands through the establishment of Indigenous land conservation trusts on sacred lands and waters that are inherent to the protection and perseverance of sovereignty, subsistence, spirituality and Native Culture.
